Always looking toward the future, Shutterbug labs have offered and continue to offer all levels of the latest services for the professional and amateur photographer. Current state-of-the-art equipment, in both our photo labs (Our main store and our Coddingtown Mall location) allow us to out perform all of our competition, for miles around. We offer high quality one-hour 35mm print film and Advanced Photo System processing, two hour E-6 slide film processing, and a two day turn around on quality enlargements.

 

Complete services are available from postcards to posters, and everything in between. A new service to the ever-expanding digital community is our complete digital lab. This service provides the digital amateur or professional photographer the option of having their digital images printed on photographic paper, and provides the conventional analog photographer the option of having their film transferred to digital media.

Photo enlargements
Bring in any image or document and we can enlarge it for you in color or black & white. We offer this service from negative, print or file for photographs and for any other type of document.

 

Reprint from prints
No negative, no problem! Bring in your photographs and we can make copies of them without having the negative. This isn't a copy service! The reprints will be on high quality photo paper and have the same color quality as the originals.
 
Reprint from slides
Tired of having to bring out the slide projector to view your pictures? We can quickly and easily print your slide collection on high quality photo paper.

 

Reprint from negatives
Did you come across negatives that brought back memories? Are you celebrating an anniversary or a special occasion? Bring in your negatives and get a new set of prints.

 

Prints from video

Better Pictures w/ a Digital SLR 6.5 hours

Instructor: John Howry, Photographer-CPC

This two-session course will provide the foundation and knowledge needed for creating great photos with your interchangeable lens digital camera.

 

Session 1: Understanding Your Camera & Field Trip

  • Learn about all your camera controls and how they give you great photos.
  • Auto exposure and focus control, white balance, exposure bracketing, camera handling, ISO control, spot, selective and matrix metering.
  • Stop action or create motion.
  • Depth of field and the use of lenses, tripods, and filters.
  • Learn how to take black and white photos and control the contrast.

 

Field trip:

  • Composition, the art of using light and color to enhance your photos.
  • Back lighting and how to use it to improve your photos.
  • Get the best close-ups with your equipment.
  • Practical application of techniques with a Shutterbug instructor to guide you on the field trip and to answer questions about your photo gear.
  • Bring your camera, plenty of film or media cards, a bottle of water, and enjoy a morning of photography.

 

Session 2: Trip Review & Flash

  • Learn how the proper use of flash can improve your photography.
  • Bounce and fill flash techniques.
  • Class discussion of photos taken on the field trip. Question & answer.
